All our hire cars have navigation system. There is no extra charge for it.
LIFE welfare hire cars haven't navigation system.

Baby Seats, Child Seats and Junior Seats are available. A child under 6 years of age is required to be seated on Child Seat by law. Customers must request Child Seat during reservation if any child under 6 years of age will ride on the vehicle. There is no extra charge for it.

In the unfortunate event of an accident, our insurance policy provides coverage within the following limits:

• Personal Injury Liability: Unlimited coverage for each person. (Including Japanese mandatory liability insurance coverage.)
• Property Damage Liability: Unlimited coverage for each accident. (50,000 yen)
• Passenger Coverage: See below.

• Collision Coverage: 50,000 deductible per accident. (For accidents less than 50,000 yen, the customer is responsible for the damages.)
  *The customer shall be responsible for deductibles, damages which exceed insured amounts, or accidents which are not covered by our insurance policy.

If an accident occurs, a Non-Operation Charge (NOC) is billed to the customer to recover some of the business losses while the vehicle is in repair. The charges are as follows:

• Collision deductible (50,000 yen)
• Any damages which exceed the amounts specified above (50,000 yen)
• The Non-Operation Charge

• An accident report is not filed with the Police Department; or
• The claim is made for categories exempted from the insurance policy.

You may opt to purchase the deductible waiver before your departure. If purchased, the collision coverage deductible will not be charged in the event of an accident.

Reservations
A reservation deposit is collected for all reservations. The amount of the deposit is determined according to our policies. The deposit will be applied against your total balance.

Cancellations
In the case of a cancellation, a cancellation fee may apply. Furthermore, if the customer is more than 1 hour late for the pick-up time without contacting Honda Rent A Car, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
*Please be aware that your desired model of vehicle may not be available due to accident or repairs.
*The maximum cancellation fee is 6,000 yen.

All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel at the time of rental. Please refill the tank at the gasoline station nearest to our office before returning the vehicle. (If you are unable to refuel the car, we will bill for gasoline based on a standard rate, calculated from the distance traveled.) It is unleaded and it's called "regular gasoline" or "HAIOKU gasoline" in Japanese.

Japanese domestic driver's license or international driver's license obtained in accordance with the Geneva Convention of 1949 are applicable. International driver's license holders should present their passport simultaneously. Driver's licenses issued in 3 countries of Switzerland, Germany and France are also acceptable, presented with the Japanese translation of a driver's license and their passport simultaneously.

At the time of rental please have your current driver's license, passport and credit card with you. We ask you to prepay an estimated amount by credit card when you pick up the car. We accept most of the credit cards.(VISA, MASTER, etc.)
